Dear all,

We would like to announce that we are ready to offer custom dynamic light scattering services, as many of you requested in the past.

What can we do?

The service offer comprises:

• Formulation: 96 well buffer screening and monitoring of sample reaction by DLS scans on a screen of choice. This can also include long term stability determination up to 30 days.
• Complex integrity analysis by absolute size determination.
• Determination of the maximum tolerable sample concentration.
• "On Cryo-EM Grid DLS": Verification that the grid treatment does not affect the sample.
• All standard DLS applications including B22 and kD analysis.

The sample volume per well is 0.5 - 0.8 µl

How can DLS support your research?

DLS can answer critical questions that always arise when taking a sample from a refrigerator.

DLS can boost research by revealing Key Quality Indicators

Sample identity and integrity are obtained by particle size analysis via DLS. Determination of the absolute size and some additional quality indicators are achieved with minimal sample consumption.

Such Key Quality Indicators are:

• Particle size [nm]
• Frequency of occurrence [N]
• Mass ratio of different particle populations
• Polydispersity index [%]
• Diffusion constant D [m2/s]
• Solvent viscosity [cp]
• Molecular weight [kDa]
• Peak integral ratio [AU]
• Mean particle distribution [nm]
• Cumulant fit radius [nm]
• Cumulant fit rmsd [%]

These parameters can be determined at each essential step in the life cycle of a sample
