A live demonstration of the systems on site will give an insight into the new possibilities that in situ and in plate DLS offer for structural biology applications. One of the features, a sample volume < 0.8 µl/well, enables full life-cycle monitoring of a sample.

Examples of applications will be demonstrated at the event. Such demonstrations will provide some understanding of particle transition to nucleation and other forms of macromolecular assembly. The control of such events allows for the improvement of the crystallisation success rate. The sub-microscopic event monitoring capabilities are complemented by the imaging capabilities of the SpectroLight 600.
